Arlene is fully committed to nurturing and encouraging any aspiring students. She is passionate about her TC and love sharing this experience, along with her knowledge with her students.

Arlene especially enjoys the comradeship that is shared with both her students and fellow instructors. Arlene says, “The outstanding training that I receive at the Golden Lion, allows me to keep growing in my art.” Arlene has also competed at the local TCAA Championships.

• 4th degree TC Gold Belt Master


• Has trained at the Golden Lion for 18 years, and taught for 15 years


• A senior instructor at the Golden Lion Head Quarters at the Rowville centre


• Accredited TC Instructor with Australian Sports Commission (NCAS) National Coaching Accreditation Scheme since 2001


• Has travelled to Beijing China twice for overseas training


• Gold medalist in the First Traditional Wushu Festival, Zhengzhou, China 2004


• 1996 attended Beijing Institute of Physical Education, in China, studying under Head TC Coach, Yang Li
