Tai Chi Senior Master Charles Tsui-Po

Senior Master Charles Tsui-Po is one of Australia’s leading Tai Chi instructors with 36 years of experience, and ranked 5th Duan (international) by the China Wushu Association. As of June 2001, he is a qualified International Wushu Judge certified by the International Wushu Federation.

A full-time professional teacher who gives his total commitment and dedication, Master Charles leads a large team of instructors providing skilled and experienced teaching across 3 major permanent centres and a wide network of regional classes.

He has represented Australia in the 1988 World Wushu Invitation Championship, China and was awarded international competition coaching qualifications by China in 1989. Master Charles is the personal trainer of Victorian, Australian and New Zealand Champions. Students of Master Charles have represented both Australia and New Zealand and been highly placed in the 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 World Wushu Championships.

Master Charles’s vast knowledge of experience is attributed to a long list of some of the best Masters around the world, they include, Pan Qin Fu, Chen Xiao Wang, Wu Bin, Men Hui Feng, Kan Gui Xiang, Professor Zhang Guande and many more. He still keeps in contact with some of these Masters on regular visits.

Master Charles is the author of a number of technical books and articles including: Beijing 24 Form Workbook, 32 Sword Workbook, International 42 Form Workbook. He is currently to be seen on TV Channel 31 'Move it or Loose It', Renaissance Television, presenting sessions on various styles of Tai Chi and Chi Kung. Tai Chi Master Charles Tsui-Po

Master Charles emphasises the importance of assisting each student to achieve their highest potential, and their own personal goals. In the classes taught under Master Charles direction, students experience a supportive, welcoming atmosphere where each person receives individual attention to enable them to progress at their own pace. The teaching syllabus and techniques developed and polished by Master Charles over many years provide a well-planned and graduated learning experience. He is accessible to all levels of students, giving time to beginners and advanced students alike. Master Charles’ direct and continuing training, support and evaluation of his instructors ensures high quality teaching in all classes.
