Master (Sifu) Chris Everett Accredited Tai Chi Instructor

Chris is a Tai Chi Sifu and Senior Instructor at the Golden Lion Academy. She has been instructing for the academy since 1994. She is passionate about TC and loves sharing her passion with her students. Being retired she is now able to devote all her time to teaching and practicing TC. She runs a satellite school in West Gippsland with classes in Warragul, Drouin and Neerim South as well as teaching Grading students at one of the Golden Lion Main Centres at Berwick. Her enthusiasm for TC has lead her to hone her skills through the Golden Lion Grading system, competing in Australia and China, and training with some of China’s most respected TC Masters. She is currently preparing for her 4th Degree Black Sash - 4th Degree Gold Belt Master (Golden Lion Academy)
- Gold medalist in the First Traditional Wushu Festival, Zhengzhou, China 2004
- Gold medalist in the Second Traditional Wushu Festival, Zhengzhou, China 2006
- Gold Medal and Trophy Winner, Competition Team, in the 1st World Traditional Wushu Festival, Zhengzou China 2004
- Trained in Beijing China with Master Wu Bin’s instructors eight times
- Trained in Australia with Professor Zhang Guangde in 1995
- Trained in Australia with Professor Men in 2006
- Trained in New Zealand with Master Shi Mei Lin in 2007
- Researching and developing a Falls Prevention TC Program, “Tai Chi For Balance” in conjunction with the West Gippsland Healthcare Group and the Golden Lion Academy
- Accredited coach with the NCAS
