Lynn Brayshaw
Accredited Tai Chi Instructor

Lynn says, “My Tai Chi journey began in 1994 at the age of 47 when I decided that I needed to do some exercise to keep fit and hopefully reduce my hypertension. A year later I was diagnosed with cancer and I believe that it was largely due to the meditative aspects of the TC movements that sustained me through surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. As a registered nurse, I have a special interest in both the healing aspects of TC and the benefits of promoting health and wellbeing”.

  • Fully accredited teacher and coach with the Golden Lion Academy and with the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS)
  • Enjoy teaching at Berwick Golden Lion Academy and Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre
  • First Aid Certificate – Level 2; Advanced CPR
  • Master of Nursing
  • 2nd degree TC Black Belt
  • Gold and Bronze medals and trophies attained in competition in both Sydney and Melbourne
  • Has been to China twice and enjoyed and benefited greatly from training with Masters at the Beijing Institute of Sport under Master Wu Bin.
