Golden Lion Inducts New Tai Chi Master
Chris Everett

Tai

Tai Chi master Chris Everett’s time finally arrived when she was accorded the authority and title of Sifu at a special presentation on the night of the Masters Show, Saturday 24th October 2009 in Melbourne, Australia.

All present at a full house were witness to a very rare presentation, a special day in the history of the Golden Lion Academy. The harmony of yin and yang, the two energies that are essential to life, were in play.

Chris joined us in March 1995, 14 years ago. She has been loyal and dedicated student of ours at the Golden Lion.

Chris completed all the requirements to achieve this Master level. She has been consistent and regular with her training; she has shown to have the correct attitudes and have demonstrated that she has the personal attributes to be a Sifu. She continues to regularly contribute to the development and success of all students of the Golden Lion Academy, including the students of her own schools in the Gippsland area.

Chris was rewarded appropriately and presented with a special Plaque and Gold Belt. To Chris, I congratulate you again and take this opportunity to remind you that this gold belt is not the end of your training, it is only the beginning. From this day forward, you should use your authority and knowledge to help others.

Congratulations to Chris on a fantastic effort.

Grandmaster Dr Pier Tsui-Po
