Su Rule Accredited Tai Chi Instructor
Su began practicing Tai Chi (TC) nearly 10 years ago with Gillian Talbot and became an Instructor with Golden Lion Academy 3 years later. Su had also been training in the Golden Lion Grading system since 2000 and, in 2007, she achieved her 1st Degree Black Sash. Su has been competing since 2001 and has held 9 Australian, National and State TC Championship Titles over that time, including TC Grand Champion at the 1st Inaugural AKWF National Wushu TC Championships held in 2004 an also the 2008 National TC Champion. She has twice been a member of the Australian Wushu Team representing Australia at the 7th World Wushu Championships held in Macau 2003 and the 8th World Wushu Championships held in Viet Nam in 2005, placing 22nd and 16th respectively. Competing in the 1st and 2nd World Traditional Wushu Festivals in 2004 and 2006, Su achieved 1st place in each of her events, receiving Gold for both her Yang 40 and Wudang Sword routines - the most Gold Medals achieved by an Australian at these competitions. Has trained in TC for over 9 years Has taught TC with the Golden Lion Academy for 6 years, Black Belt, 1st Degree, 2007 Accredited TC Coach with the Australian Sports Commission (NCAS) Has held 9 Australian National and State TC Championship Titles since 2001 TC Grand Champion at the Inaugural AKWF National Wushu TC Championships, 2004 Current 2008 National TC Champion Member of the Australian Wushu Team at the 7th World Wushu Championships, Macau 2003 and the 8th World Wushu Championships, Viet Nam 2005 Dual Gold Medallist at both the 1st and 2nd World Traditional Wushu Festivals, 2004 and 2006 Gold Medal and Trophy Winner, Competition Team, in the 1st World Traditional Wushu Festival, Zhengzou China 2004
