Golden Lion Tai Chi Wins 12 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals at the 2011 Australasian Championships
 Congratulations to our Golden Lion Tai Chi students who have won 12 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals at the 2011 Australasian Championships. It is indeed a great pleasure to announce to you that students and instructors of the Golden Lion has exceeded all the goals we had set out for the Academy at the recent 2011 Australasian Kung-Fu Wushu TC Championships, which were held at the Melbourne Aquatic Centre on 28 May. Congratulations to everyone who participated; our Kung Fudivision won 11 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals; our TCdivision won 12 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. We are proud of the 22 competitors from Golden Lion, 12 Kung-Fu students and 10 TC students, who trained long and hard towards this major tournament. Their enthusiastic practising certainly paid dividends with the Golden Lion proudly bringing home a total of 38 medals. Well done! You’ve helped Golden Lion retain the title of best Chinese martial arts school. Competition is just one of the directions you may wish to take within the Golden Lion syllabus.
